Problem with editing signature

I am trying to edit my signature and update my profile. After I edit the signature and I post a thread. The thread shows my old signature. Is there a delay in the posting of new signatures? How can I get my new signature to stick?

Did you make sure to click "Save Signature" ? or Possibly was you new signature to large and it reverted back to the "old" one?

Problem with editing my signature

I know this is an old thread but for quite sometime now, I have tried to edit my sig. This keeps coming up. I was able to change my avatar but it will not let me edit the text.

"The following errors occurred with your submission:
  1. Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 6 line(s). Long text may have been implicitly wrapped, causing it to be counted as multiple lines."
I've taken words out and it still does it.

Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.

Have you verified that there isn't a bunch of line feeds under or over your signature lines?

Can you show us a screenshot of your [edit signature] dialogue box?

Did you have problems after you put the Eagle in the signature? Try removing it and see if your problems are fixed. If not then it might be the last line causing it.😂👍😂

Let me check that out. I'll take a screen shot and post up here.

It's not. It was doing it prior to me putting that in my sig.

That is your formatted signature. Try removing the bold and/or size codes to see if that allows you to make your changes. Notice I removed [ or ] so we can see how you formatted your signature. Also notice how the 1996 line has wrapped to a second line.

how about now? I think maybe adding the image is pushing you over the 6 line limit.

I took out the bold and size. It worked. I finally realized how to do it; that I had to click the source tab to get it done. Thanks for the help guys.
