351M HP?

Hey Guys,
Roughly how much horsepower will I have with a 351M, with a Melling RV cam, 600cfm Holley and dual exhaust. Does have Ederbrock
Performer Intake. Thanks/Robert
PS Truck is 1977 F100 C6 Trans

Ya gotta figure evaluate/guesstimate what your combo would add. Remember, this is NET HP at the rear wheels. My guess is anywhere from 20%-25% more.

WoW that torque is impressive for the way the engine was set up.
I would like to see a nice STOCK Engine HP TQ rating if just the timing was set to
the proper degree and not advanced for emissions.

Torque is king on the street and typical wheeling. That's what gets the rig off the line or up the grade.

I agree. For real world daily driving purposes, I'd build the engine for torque and reliability.

i thought these motor's were retarded 6 degrees for emissions. i might be wrong, but from what i've heard, advancing them wakes them up in the low rpm ranges and retarding them cuts back on smog.
