I had to work till 10:00 last night. One of my combine drivers "smacked" the bank-out wagon and took out a gearbox......

Off to work.........

I take it the wagon is to prevent running the semis all over the fields and packing down the soil?

We don't have anywhere near as big of fields in the valley. They usually run right from the combine into the semi.

Our fields are very large (this one is 700 acres) and the semi's can't get to all the areas so we use a bank-out wagon to speed up the harvest.

We have hauled 2 MILLION pounds to market as of today. With the yealds as high as they are this year we should hit 6 MILLION pounds by the time we finish!

Some pics from today:

I actually had to drive today, and here I am!
