Was amazed when i saw it back up to an 18 wheeler and realized that it was an f150. But they had it pull it across the lot and made comments on the ecoboost motor. Just amazing to see some of the product placement now. Thanks, Mike
just the tractor itself. it was sitting there broken down and he had to jerk it a few times to get it moving. Not saying it was any incredible feat, just interesting to see how they are doing product placement in many shows now.
I just watched that episode. Shameless plug for the EB....I love it!
Oh and did anyone catch the fact that the red 150 that Hugh was driving when he left the yard was an EB also?
Yeah I caught that too. Also, the Alaska DOT trucks are mostly superduties and they also have some Raptors.
The only time I remember the raptor is when they had to do something with an ice dam and open it up. If you can find the episode the raptor is in there.
Now people...do you really think only an EcoBoost could have moved that semi tractor?
Well, I guess the Chevy could have moved it , but with the help of the Ecoboost. Come to think of it, I think the Ecoboost could have moved both the Chevy and the semi-tractor.
The impressive part for me was the ability to get some traction. Moving a vehicle, even a heavy one isn't hard if its on wheels. I pull started a 78' KW co with my chevette back in the nineties.
Saw the raptor pull the loaded truck last Sunday. Hugh says "Ive owned Fords for years, no problem"

You haven't tried pulling a big truck in -20*F weather then! The oil in those rears gets really thick!
