I think they filmed it around TN didn't they? Or some of it?

AND Andy Griffith, AND several other follow on's, so it must have had a lot of value to it.

Did anyone besides me get anything that mattered out of "MAYBERRY RFD"?

 

The Andy Griffith Show was filmed at DesiLu studios out in California. Gomer Pyle, USMC was also filmed there. None of either show was recorded outside California.
*EDIT* Also the character Gomer Pyle was North Carolinian. Mayberry, NC. Too bad it isn't real place...

 

I thought there was a Mayberry, NC. Probably nothing like the show. Did you ever wonder what people did for jobs there?

 

Probably the same as Ralph and Dale Earnhardt

 

The town in the Andy Griffith Show was based on Andy's home town of Mt. Airy, NC.
