Thanks, great instructions. It will save someone a $75+ dealership charge for pulling the code.

 

The last used vehicle I bought from my Ford dealer I made them get me the code as part of the deal. I wasn't going to spend a nickel on a used vehicle and then have to pay more $ to get the entry code and at least 2 PATS keys. They whined a little, but complied. Otherwise, I was going to walk and they knew it.

 

Along the same lines,...I have an '04 150,..and the code that was on the card, has never worked,..I had bought it used from a dealer,...I took it back and the service manager said it wouldn't help to pull the seat, because it was an "add on" keypad,...he got in,..cycled the ign. key off & on about 20 times,..and the door locked,...he said there, try the code now,..it worked!! he had reprogrammed it,...cool,...free,...
