We're pretty cool here.......Post away!
I've had many different cars over the last 50 years and am not a Ford "snob".
I for one appreciate a lot of different rigs, and would buy another 66 GTO in a heart beat!

After completing the 79 rebuild I wanted something for a summertime cruiser, you know take the top off and take a run to beach and what not, I'll make this long boring story as short as posible,,,,I bought a qaud at insurance auction (nearly free) my buddy saw it and had to have it so I offered it up for trade on his 1970 Blazer 4x4 CST edition, I never thought in a million years he's even consider it, a few years ago he completely when thru it mechanically, brakes, axels, built 4 bolt main 350 (only 5000 miles on it), rebuilt 4 speed tranny, new steering components, he sank over 10 grand in it mechanically.............and then traded me on the spot for the quad! I couldnt sign the title fast enough. I've got the blazer completely stripped down to a bare tub ready for sandblasting now, going to do it just like the 79 Ford

Great deal! Can't wait for pictures of this one! I did a 74 Blazer for a buddy of mine. Took two years, but man it sure was a nice rig when we finished it. He rolled it 4 times on a elk hunting trip about ten years ago...............

Sounds like a great deal, would like to pictures. I have a Bronco, but the top has only been off 2 times in almost 20 years...
