F350 to F250 axle swap

I've found front and rear axle assemblies from an 89 f350 with 4-10 gears.
I will have the complete front tie rods pitman arm springs, wheel to wheel, with springs.
I want to swap them into my 91 f250, with open diffs in 3.55
What kind of issues and or extra parts am I gonna need. Can I use my F250 springs [recently replaced]. Any help advice appreciated.

direct bolt in. make sure you get the track bar and bracket also.
you can use the 250 springs, or swap in the 350 springs.
do yourself a favor and buy new spring u bolts.
it should only take you 5-6 hours to do if you have a set of torches to cut the old rear out and air tools to put it back together.

88 an 91 have speed sensors on the rears w/10.25's, mine did, an abs is on the driver front frame rail. Should be an easy swap

Thanks for the info, I'm only getting the complete diffs with springs, nothing else.
I don't want to start this swap and then find I have to buy a bunch of parts to make it work.

I have't seen the rear diff, if it doesn't have the speed sensor I can't use it, am I right?
Can I use the gear set out of my TTB front in the F-350 solid axle?

Make sure you get the driver side lower spring plate from the 350 as it is obsolete and hard to find. Your 250 lower plate wont work.

As others said, get the tracbar and mount too.

Use the 350 springs - they ride better and are arched correctly for this application. Everything else is pretty much bolt in. Your pitman arm will work with it too.

Some people do the shackle reversal kit and use superduty front springs and claim even better ride.

you must use the F350 steering linkage. the 250 linkage will not work with the Dana 60.
and you must also use the track bar and bracket otherwise the front axle will flop all over the place.
also, the speedometer is cable driven off the back of the transfer case on both the 88 and 91, not electronically driven. electronic speedometers started in 92.

Thanks for the info, so you're saying I cant use my 250 front springs. I just picked up all the stuff front diff with springs steering linkage track bar et all.
The rear has the plug in for the abs. Can I swap the full floater carrier, etc into my light duty, and what's the advantage to the full floater?
