DVD stuck in factory DVD player
HELP!
My son accidently stuck 2 dvd's in the player 1 has come out the other is stuck. Took it to dealer and they said the whole dvd player needs to be replaced. They cannot get the dvd out without damaging the player further. Any suggestions for getting the DVD out in hopes that it will work again before spending $880.00 on new unit?
Thanks!

A buddy of mine has a Cadillac SRX, and his son did the same thing...
He too did not fix it because of the cost.
Then one day He took it apart. took the DVD out and saw a plastic washer/gromit that looked out of place, likely moved by the second DVD, it was a quick and easy fix and the kids are happy again
I say take it apart, nothing to loose.
