OK, does anyone know what wire is what? I can't seem to figure it out. the colors are, light green/white, black/green, yellow/black, light blue/red, blue and black. If anyone can help me or give me a link to where I can find this at I would greatly appreceate it.

I don't remember the colors but I do remember that my wife's '94 had a built in amp. I bought a stereo from Crutchfield and they said that I would either have to bypass the factory amp (which was located in one of the rear quarter panels) or purchase a device to put inline that would dampen it before it went through the amp. That little jewel was like $50 at Circuit City.

Maybe this didn't help any, but I thought I would throw it out there.

 

It looks like there are only two speakers with that set of wires. The best thing to do is pull the speakers out and see what colors they are. See if those colors match the colors at the harness. Sometimes they don't. If you have a multi meter that will tell you what is what. Dont quote me on this but from my expiereance I would Assume:

The Black is ground
Blue is for power <a href="http://www.motorhaven.com/">antenna</a> or amp lead
Red/blue is for ignition on
Yellow/black is for constant power (ie clock memory)
Green/white is for left or right speaker
Black/green is for left or right speaker
Now there should be an amp that is taking high level inputs because you would need two wires per speaker. An amp only has one wire coming into it from the radio for power and that would be the blue lead in most cases. Chances are the green/white and black/green wires are giving the amp the signal and the amp is then feeding thw two or four speakers. If you have four speakers then the amp is using one wire for the front and one for the rear and its not running in stereo.
This is just me putting a mental picture in my head. I hope this helps in some ways if not you can go to almost any auto parts store, matbe even Walmart and buy a harness that will fit into your car but again if it has an amp you may run into trouble.
