Serpentine Belt length??

Does anyone know what the outside belt length (or effective belt length) is for a 2006 F250 single alternator serpentine belt?

I think that the effective length is 125.8 inches, but would like to confirm this, and to also get the outside belt length (should be abot 0.75 inches more than the effective length I believe).

I worked in a parts store years ago and back then the belt length was in the part number. Not sure if that's still the case though.

Thanks! I will track down the part number and see if it contains numbers close to 125.8.

Sounded smarter when I thought it.

Example: a Gates #36485 was a style/width 36 and 48 1/2 in long.

PART NUMBERS:
3C3Z-8620-DB
JK81267-A

I will assume the length is 126.7 inches from the second part number above. Now to figure out if that is the outside length or effective length.

I am looking at a GoodYear Gatorback PolyV belt (#4081258) w/ an effective length of 125.8 (and guessing the outside length to be 126.75). Just verifying that it will fit.

If it's a GodYear, it should be universal.

Sounds right. I allways thought of the length as being the inside diameter. the o/d would be the thickness of the belt x2 I'm guessing.
