2004 Ford F150 Three Trouble Codes.
First of all I have been having a number of odd issues here lately. Plugs were replaced not even 2k miles ago. COP's are fine. When I first start my truck up in the morning after its been sitting all night, it runs like a bag of ***, but not right away. As soon as the needle from the cold mark starts to move up, the truck begins to idle rough sitting still, and when you move it makes a sound as if it were missing. However no misfire codes are present, and once the truck warms up it runs fine. The codes are System Bank 2 Catalytic Deficiency, The other code, is "System too lean Bank 1" From watching the O2 Sensors through a computer, they have the correct number of voltage, mind you they were all warmed up when I did that. So what could it be? Bad Cat, or bad O2 Sensor? Why is Bank 1 messing up if Bank 2 is the one giving problems?
Another thing is, when the truck is still cold, and I put it under heavy acceleration, the sucker chirps. Sounds is if its coming from under the passenger dash, or under the engine compartment. I only notice that sometimes... Any ideas on any of this would be nice..
Also one last thing, would bad U-Joints cause a roaring sound going down the road, like you had real aggressive tires almost. Mine is roaring its not to bad noticable, and it even sort of feels like there is force being put upon my truck when I left off, its very slight as is the vibration. At first I thought it was the wheel bearing, but it seems to come from both sides equally, as well as towards the back of the truck to...
