Automatic trans shifter indicator on the dash off by one position

My '99 expy indicator needle on the column is off by one position, so in park it indicates reverse and reverse it is in the nuetral position and so on. Anybody fix a similar problem?

Sorry can't help but you might want to ask in the 97-06 Expy forum. The 2007's and up dont have the gear indicator on the dash.
