I just picked up a 1993 F150 4X4 for a steal ($300.00!) and although the truck runs and drives great, those 235 15's just look tiny! How large a tire can I put under this thing without needing any lift under the truck?

Also, If anyone has pics of what they recommend that would be super!

That would be a 32/11.5/15 comfortably. Pics of that setup are in my gallery.

 

MustangGT: You can get 32's on your stock rig with no rubbing? i have 31's and i didn't know i'd be able to go higher, its nice to hear!!

 

You can if you get aftermarket wheels with the right backspacing. I have them on the stock Eddie Bauer wheels, it rubs on the radius arm but, it's really not a problem because you're not suppose to turn the wheel against the steering stops anyway.

 

I noticed in your gallery photos that your old red truck had front springs that were not black. Were they an aftermarket set that lifted the front end at all?

Yup, that truck was lifted 4". The aftermarket parts list is listed there. Lucky...I almost didn't catch this.

 

I've got 31x10,50 on my 94 and they fit good with plenty of suspension movement. rubs on my right radius arm a bit but it's not a real big deal.
