Brake Fluid Reads Low (Brake Light On)
I have read the other threads pertaining to the brake indicator light staying on. I connected forscan and in the IC module the brake fluid was reading low. I removed the connector from the brake fluid level sensor and jumped the two wires and that indeed turned the light off, for a few minutes.....
I connected forscan again after the light came back on and the brake fluid level was reading low with the wires jumped and "open" with the jump removed. This didn't make sense to me but I replaced the brake fluid level sensor anyway and it's still reading low after plugging the new one in. During the installation of the new sensor, the light turned off with the connector unplugged (and nothing jumped). This did not happen the last time I unplugged the sensor.
This seems so random. Any ideas? Does the IC module actual show the sensor reading, or would the common cluster soldering issue cause a low fluid level reading in forscan?
