This is the tool it take to release the clips that hold it in.
You can make your own out of a coat-hanger.

I recommend the $2 tool(s), they are spring steel with ends that snap in place to the correct depth, with a coat hanger you'll be fishing around...but yeah it'll work if you have an idea how the clips are situated.

On the other hand, if you don't know how the clips are situated, you may not get them to work properly. I found it easier to disassemble my dashboard, and I needed to do some other things behind it anyway. Once I had the dashboard apart, it was easy to see how the clips were supposed to work. If you have never seen them before, never worked the tool, it may not work for you. Good luck.

What is a (DIN)

I have read where people talk about a DIN or double DIN and I ask myself, what the heck are they taking about? I have an idea it has to do with radio equipment, but don't have an idea.

DOUBLE DIN is the thickness of 2 radios
