It is possible. I read on either here or Vintage vans. where someone was doing this. He had pictures of the power brake booster under the truck and disc brake conversion for the front axle.
Another fella that has not been here for a while. Put a Jaguar car rearend in his truck. It worked great and they have disc brakes for them also. He said those rearends are cheap over in England where he is at.
I check some of the sponsor sites that specialise on Econolines, I thinks it is Macs that has something to do a conversion.

Remember that the discs require different pressure than the drums ... ideally you should have a dual master and then a porportioning valve for the rear ... D&D Brakes sells a bracket that replaces the single set up and accommodates a dual ... OLDSKOOL actually has a remote resevoir kit for the 67 master ... you never have to pop the floor again ...

I'm considering a Dodge Kframe set on one of mine Econo trucks. Have not got to that stage yet. But lke the idea of a nice soft riding front end with the torsion bars to adjust the height.
Dodge K frames come with all the control arms, Steering box and disc brakes. Just have to make a mounting points for the Kframe.
I just been too busy with other projects these years. But it is what 'm thinking of giving it a try.
