1980-86 Ford Paint Chips - (not 56k friendly)

Due to my frustration trying to track down an interior color, with the help of 81-F-150-Explorer I stumbled upon a website with PPG paint code listings and and chips. The website is a pain in the neck to use, so I organized all the chip information to my p-bucket for easy access.

Cool. I also created a PDF version of this too in case somebody wants to download it and blow up the images to get a better look. P-Bucket shrank these a little. Anybody wanting that version can PM me with their email address.

Great post. Thanks for sharing. Might want to fix page 4 of 1981. There's two page 3's.

You're a supporter, I think you can attach PDF files directly to posts you make here
and others can then download it as they want....

If you look at the Light Chamois interior color on page 3 of the 1980 section. That matches your truck pretty close. Well some of it.

I would not trust those color chips though. Some of the greens that I know to be green, look blue to my monitor as example. I'd still go to the paint store and look at the actual chips. Some of the paints are metalic, and metalic chips do not scan very well, hence the possible color differences I'm seeing.

Thanks for sharing this though. It will no doubt help others in the future.

While i give you props for trying, everyones computer gives different colors so what you see on the screen is not what you will get,

HEll, even the paint chips in person dont match the real thing

While it's true one shouldn't rely exclusively on computer renderings for matching colors,
having these things here is still helpful.

Does anyone have the key for interior and exterior factory options for 80-86?
