Hello all,

I've had my F150 2011 for about 4 days now. Love it. Thoughts on Bedliners? I really want to get the Dualliner but I thought I would ask everyone's thoughts on the product. Anyone have any experiences with DualLiner?

Sorry I missed your post Maximus. I got one for my 2011 F-350. For the 8' bed it came in two piece sections for the side walls. The rubber mat is thick and protects well. Water drains and the bed surface stays dry. Also very easy to install. Good folks to deal with and quick shipping too.

I ended up getting the Dual Liner, great product. The mat had a small tear in it but other than that its awesome. I also ordered a G2 BakFlip with the Bakbox, everything is installed. Did bump into a jam though, the drain tubes for the Bakflip, now that I have the dual liner installed I no longer have access to the two drain plugs up at the head of the bed.

Thoughts?

How you like your 350? I love my truck, just took it to Erie PA, and got 22.7 mpg. Awesome!

I'll have to take a look at the drains now that you mentioned
them.
Like the 350 alot. The ride ain't the best, but with some weight
in the bed, it's OK. It hauls all I need to haul and more. It's
the "pack mule" for the cabin we are building in northcental PA.
22 mpg is nice with your F-150, 16.5 is the best so far with
the 350 empty and a good tailwind(highway), 11.5 everywhere else.

Best wishes with the new rig and all her accessories...have you thought
about some nice mudflaps or some good heavy custom floormats?

I have not thought of any mud flaps, any suggestions? Or Links. Next big upgrade I will probably do is the stereo and speakers. I haven't figured out what exactly, but I think that will be the next major purchase. I ordered the EZ Down for the tailgate and its pretty wicked. Have you seen that at all?

350 has some serious power I'm sure. How is the gas where you are? It's 4.01 here, my buddy in down town San Francisco sent me a pic message with 4.71 for regular. Crazy!!

Gas here in eastern PA is over $4 for high test and nearing that
for the other two grades. I have pretty much stopped driving except for work.
Have not seen the EZ Down gate assist, who has that? And how much???

Got a Dual Liner too, installed very quickly and easily. Will work great for me I think!

 

If you are looking to buy a Dual Liner, I just noticed that they are on sale now for $369.00 or $359.00 if you were in the military. Here is the link to the sale page www.dualliner.com/sale.php I love my Ford trucks and I think that the Dual Liner is the best bed liner, glad to see you guys are happy with it too.

 

How good does it work if you haul mulch or gravel every now and then? Does it move or get under the mat?

It's plastic on the sides with a rubber mat on the floor. You can buy a rubber mat for $80 and save about $300.

 

The way the mat locks into the sides should keep anything from getting under the mat. I would not want just the rubber mat, bc you get no protection to the side of your bed. Keep in mind that the Dual liner mat is roughly 1/2" and the sides fit great to the truck.

I love mine and works great if you ask me. Have had several truck guys say that will be their next bed liner then they get another truck!

 

OK, drop-in bedliner with a rubber mat...still $80.00. Most spray-on bedliner businesses have a bunch of drop-in bedliners and give them away. I'm just saying if you don't want to spend or can't spend $369 for a Dualliner, you can get the equivalent for a lot less. Note: Drop-in bedliners are made of polypropylene and so are the Dualliner sides.

 

I ordered from DualLiner last year for a new 2011 F350. It was a 7-piece unit, the left and right sides both having 2 pieces to make up the 8' bed wall. They now have solid, one piece walls from what their website says. One of the left side pieces did not fit and could not be installed unless cut to fit properly. DualLiner went to work to redesign the section in question as they had a number of customers with the same situation.

I give DualLiner thanks as they have redesigned this section to fit as it should. I was not sure of how this was all going to turn out. DualLiner would call me from time to time to keep me updated on their progress but I had my doubts about it all. I received the redesigned section via UPS and popped it into place nicely.

I believe the fitted wall protection and the the thick rubber mat is a good system to protect a bed that does lots of hauling.
