oil filler tube on a 48?

hey all, I'm new here-got a question:
I recently got my 48 up and running, however I am in need of an oil filler tube....
the PO put in a vacuum cleaner tube to serve as the oil filler tube.
I've checked around for said part but I cant seem to find it, anyone know where I can?

thanks!

Post the location where you are in your info - at least the state. There's probably someone close who has swapped a stock intake for aftermarket.

Beyond that, they show up on ebay fairly often - the intakes don't usually go for much.

The tubes are pretty simple and just tap into place.

Have you tried all the usual places, LMC & Mac's?
You might try Flathead City.com. I've never dealt with them, I just found the site while searching around.

Now that is something I can help you with. I just happen to be parting out a flathead 6, and it has a filler tube on it still. Click on my user name and see of there's an option to send me an email. Or let me know your email address. We need to take buying and selling stuff off forum, and you being new here, you can't use the private mail feature until you have 25 posts.
