97' F250 DIED WHILE DRIVING
While driving truck died, like shutting the key off. I changed the fuel filter and CPS. I then found this site, after reading a few threads, I performed a few tests. There is no WTS light when the ignition is turned on. There is no CEL when ignition is turned on. There is no smoke coming out of tailpipe when cranking over. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

First of all, welcome to the site! Sorry to hear you're having trouble.
First thing to check would be fuse #22. It runs your PCM (Powertrain Control Module - aka engine computer). Unfortunately it also runs the fuel bowl heater element which is known to short out and blow the fuse, thus killing the power to pretty much everything that makes the engine run. Check that fuse carefully (with a meter if possible) and we can go from there. By the way, if it is the fuse, you might want to consider unhooking the fuel bowl heater to prevent it from happening again. Lots of us on here run all year round without the heater, so it's not really a concern.
Good luck, hope this helps.
