2003 4.6L Headlights out, Dash lights out,
Hi all!
I'm having a little electrical problem with my 03' 4.6L SuperCrew
Goes a little like this:
Upon turning on the tuck and switching the headlights to the "on" position, the right one turns on, and and the left one stays off. I then turn the light switch to the "off" position, and the right headlight stays on.
Even when shutting the engine off, and exiting the truck, the right headlight STILL stays on. It's the exact same problem with the high beams (both turn on and stay on) even when I take out the key.
Now, when I hit the "lock" button on the key fob, then all/any lights turn off.
The second problem is the interior dash illumination lights are not working either (Guages, radio, A/C, etc). Both problems started at the exact same time, so I believe they are connected. I was thinking it might be a fuse problem, but I don't know which of fuses control those two operations.
Anyone have any idea what the issue could be?
Thanks in advance and let me know if you need any more info
Edit: I forgot to add a fact that may or may not be important. The truck has after-market headlights that were installed by the previous owner. I am going to charge the battery up tonight just in case and take a look at the ground wires first thing tomorrow.
Anyone have a Chart for the fuse boxes that display what each fuse controls??? Thanks
