flexplate id c80p-c

I have a flexplate marked c80p-c or c8op-c. Can someone please tell me what it came off of? Will it fit my 1993 302? Is it a 1968? HELP!

Thank you. That is very helpful. Do you by chance know what it originally would have fit?

sorry i dont. what i know is any 302 before 1982 had a 28oz imbalance like the 351w.
any 302 after 82/83 had a 50oz imbalance.

what tranny are you planning to have behind the 93 5.0?

I have an 83 C6 transmission for it. So any flywheel for a C6 trans for a 302 made after 82/83 will have the correct weight? How did you know what the weight was on my flexplate so that I may identify the one I do need when I find one? Thank you again.

honestly i would just go buy one new. you will spend less then $75 bucks and the ring gear and such will be brand new, plus you will know exactly what you need. I have gone to wrecking yards and they tend to not know what most flexplates are either. but if you must go any flexplate from a 93 5.0/e4od tranny would work.

you want 50oz imbalance, C6/E40d are the same
C4/AOD are the same
good luck

I just called AutoZone and they can get me a new flexplate for $50 bucks. I didnt know they was that cheap. I know $50 bucks really isnt cheap money to throw around but I thought a flexplate would be higher than that. Thanks for saying that bc it helped me out today. Scott
