Question - Do you have MYKey in your truck?

I have been doing a little reading on the MYKey programming.
Has anyone used it?

It says it can adjust the seat, side mirrow and gas/brake pedals to an individual assigned to that key.

What do you think of it and have you programmed any of the additional options?

Do both the diesel and gas engines have the remote start on the key?

I have the My Key and did program it, or at least 1 key is. It looks like you have to have a certain package for the seats and mirrors to move. I have power seats and power mirrors, but did not see a option to save them when I was programming the key. Looks like you can set a few things like, max speed, warning at certain speed, and how many hours and miles you drove with that key. If there is a way to auto adjust the seats and mirrors I would like to know.

Yah I know. In the back of the owners guide is an application back to college to comprehend all this fangles stuff. Don't they know old people want it simple. LOL

FYI I just found out that the 4th printing is out for the 2011 Super Duty OWNERS GUIDE. Here is the link to the Ford page LINK

Located in the left column. They also have some good videos describing different systems.

I usually play with it, mess it up, then look at the manual..

I do not have the feature to move the seats, pedals, and mirrors with my keys. I don't have the 2 buttons on the dash like the book says. I can just limit speed and see how long I have been driving for.

There are more computer systems and programs in this and other vehicles than F16 fighter jets. Its mind boggling.

Just keep reading the owners manual and make sure you don't hit the RED switch that says "EJECT"!
