Airbag Question

I have found that the 2011 ride-rite airbag system has a new part number for the 2011 Super Dutys (#2520 for gas motor) but the website says that new P/N is designed for 5th wheel and Gooseneck towing. It doesnt say anything about bumper pulling. Another seach yeiled part number 2452 which from what i understand was for the 08-10 models, but says will work for 2011's , A.) is this correct? B.) Even if i just bumper pull would it matter to install part #2520? C.) have any of you installed these you your 2011 superduties?

I have a new set of the 2520's in my garage, haven't put them on yet as my 5er plans are post-poned until next year so I haven't been itching to get them on... I bet the difference in the part numbers is the mounting hardware, neither of which will affect your application since you don't plan on a 5er hitch (where hitch rails would get in the way). I'd go with the 2520's but you should contact Firestone and confirm. Found their number while perusing their site. Telephone: (800) 888-0650 Ext. 58643

Air bags will work for 5th wheel, bumper pull, or just heavy stuff in the bed, doesn't matter. The issue is all the same, the rear sags. The bags will correct this.
