2010 explorer keyless entry code location

it is located on the smart junction box (sjb)

I used my camera like this to get the code printed on the sticker.

here is another picture on an 07, I think after 07 they went to the sticker method.

this picture was taken again near the e-brake pedal. I blured out the rest of the code.

Zoomed in on photo

as you can see there is the code in less than 5 minutes, and no tools required.

Thank you for the potentially helpful link. I don't see the code in any of the photos that you posted though, at least not the 5-digit keypad code.

you are correct, this truck did not have the key pad option just an example.

it would look like this. But this is a photo of a 2010 expedition, just showing that the number is on the sticker.

Very possibly. It would be worth taking a look. Have you checked the owner's manual booklet cover for the little plastic card with the number? You might also check to see if it's written on one of the pages of the owner's manual, probably in the section regarding the remote keyless entry. The Explorer would hardly be old enough for those items to already by lost.
