It's actually pretty simple, only took me an hours worth of time once I got the tools and the new heater core.
I know right now the hardest part will be getting the hoses off of the old heater core, what I did was make a slice up the hose and wedged a flat head screw driver around the sides to free it, a little tiny dab of WD-40 in the slice wouldn't hurt either.

Also make sure the gasket is good. I replaced mine last summer and come winter it was blowing cool air.It was blowing hot air out of the cover for the heater core. I took it apart last week and put sticky foam that my friend did not need to use when he did his 96 250. His heater core came with the foam from his part store, but mine from Oreilly's did not come with it. I read on here you can get the foam from a hardware store.
