Well I just picked up my very first diesel this week and I want to get the ALL the fluids changed. I can do the diffs and probably the transfercase myself but I want to have a professional do the coolant, oil, trans, and the fuel filter. Where are some good shops in the South Seattle, Tukwilla, Burien, Auburn area that will do these things for a reasonable price and that will do it right? Oh and its a 1996 f250 supercab 4x4 with an auto.

Save yourself a lot of money. You could do it yourself.

Enumclaw....The Power Shop is about the only place I'd go to.

 

I do my own fluid changes on my jeep and my sisters bronco I just wasn't sure if there was something special about diesels. Ill do some searching around here. What weight oil are guys using up here in our climate?

 

Using the Delo 15-40. Works just fine. The T6 5-40 breaks down way to fast. Nothing special about changing the fluids on our trucks. Remember the gasket on the transmission is reusable.
