Main Bearing Spacers

Somebody asked me if they made either spacers or thick-wall main bearings to fit the 302 crank into a 351W block, much like what is offered to put 350 Chevy cranks in a 400 Chevy block. Anyone heard of such a thing?

Main Bearing Spacers

We have installed 4-bolt splayed caps on 351W before and have done a couple with 351C main size. They are easy to get spacers for and I like putting the caps on because there is only a spacer in the block half of the middle 3 main, since the caps we use are the correct size for the 351C bearing.

As of lattely I picked up a set of caps that are for a 351W and uses 302 main size. These we will have to make our own spacers.
Ford SVO catalog has a kit for 351W to use 302's in. I think it includes caps, bearings and spacers.

I know this is dragging one back from the dead, but I am looking for 351-302 spacers/bearings and having a hard time finding them.
