Power Distribution Box Under Hood

I blew a fuse for my trailer charging circuit last week and and had a heck of a time getting the cover removed from the Power Distribution Box/Fuse box that is located under the hood. I ended up just flexing it and getting my hand in there to change the fuse. Does any one have a trick or know how to remove the cover?

You have to remove the coolant line that comes around the back side of the degas bottle. Simply pinch and pull to disconnect the hose. Then remove the other side of the hose from the pinch connector on the back side of the degas bottle. Pinch the holder and pull straight up. That gets the hoses out of the way and you can remove the plastic cover.

It's still a bit tight, you have to lift the side and pull up and then out. I mentioned this and showed the hoses in the airbag installation video.

Thanks! I was avoiding that video because I want to install air bags on my truck but don't have the money yet. Watching the video makes me want them more. I figured there was a trick I was missing to getting the cover off.
