I know people want to know what their VIN Number means. If you click on the link here, it will take you to the VIN Decoder. All you do is type your VIN Number in, and it tells you what your truck is. There is also a place to click on your year, and it will pull up more info for all the makes and models for that year. Check it out.

how do i find out what stock gear ratio is?

 

There should be a sticker somewhere inside the driver door. It will have your axle code. There is a thread in the tech folder for axle codes. Or you can post your axle code, and someone will help you. Good luck.

 

that one says my VIN is invalid. It works on the FORD web page under owners. I have an account there and it took the VIN. It also worked fine on the top message url
to the ford fleet checker.

 

yes we do. but it currently does not work.
the FTE staff is looking into the problem, and hopefully it will be back up and running in short order.

I don't know how far back it goes. I tried to put in an '06 and it didn't have it. Not sure if it's just from '08 forward, or exactly what the criteria is for having the data at the site is. Might not even be by year for all I know.
