2009 EB is no more...

I got T-Boned on Wednesday by a guy driving about 40mph. He was in a '98 Audi A4. He hit me square in the driver's side door. The Audi lost. I am so glad that I was in the Expedition or I would have been seriously injured. The side airbags deployed and that seemed to save my head from really taking a beating. I got a call from my insuance company and it is a total loss. The frame is bent like a banana. The guy did not have any insurance, of course. Luckily, I did not buy the truck new and I am not upside down. I am getting paid more by insurance than what I paid for the vehicle. They must have went up in value during the past 12 months. Time to start car shopping again.

Sorry to hear of you loss, but that is one of the reasons we buy these trucks isn't it, to save our lives in times like that. The safety features are really awesome. Hope you are able to find another Expy to continue on the legacy.

Glad you are OK. Also glad to hear the Expy did it's job by protecting you. Ford has some great financing going on right now with 0% for 60 months.

yep...every since Ford really started cutting back on the productions #'s. My 2008 is worth a ton of money. It's almost enough to convince me to go grab a new one with the 5.0

So sorry about your truck but very happy that your Expy protected you the way she did.

A newer vehicle gaining in value is definitely unusual. All the more reason to buy total loss insurance for the expensive purchases. You just never know.

Glad to hear you are ok. Are there laws in your state regarding not having insurance? He should do time and pay you restitution. I HATE PEOPLE WITHOUT INSURANCE.
