Factory replacement Vacuum lines
Working on the 92 yesterday and I broke 2 colored plastic vacuum lines. Who makes a replacement or i guess i could get some rubber vacuum line at auto parts store but id rather keep things clean and factory. Ive searched, anyone have a lead on where I can get replacements.?? Ford doesnt sell them anymore.

Hey,...guess what ,...?,...I have had the same problems,..i just grabbed some silicone tubing, and used it to "couple" the broken,...plastic crap that was original. For a cleaner, more functional alternative, I have some copper pipe from the hardware store,..the thin flex type,... problem is if its not the correct diameter is it going to provide the resistance to run the smog crap on the other end. And there are three of them I think that come around the back of the upper intake,..so some type of bracket will have to be fabricated, as well as connection from the pipe to the device,...(egr, coffee can, or what ever). Not sure on nylon for gas vapors,...I wouldn't for liquid gas so I wouldn't for vapor,.... it will just get brittle and break. Good luck with the pipes,....

I replaced all the plastic vacuum lines under the hood except the MAP with almost 25 feet of 5/32 rubber. I heated the ends in hot water to slip over the intake manifold tree. I was not aware of leaks but the engine runs better. I took a picture of the hood sticker and printed it. Noted which solenoid position and described the controlled part location. I numbered the hose colors and put the corresponding number on the hoses with wire number tags. Picture is kept in the console now in case ever needed.
