Long shot

I know it's a long shot but maybe someone else has the same issue.

I have a loud rattle coming from my passenger seat. it seems it is do to the natural vibrations of the truck vibrating the chair. it is so annoying i cant stand it!

anyone else have this issue?

thanks in advance

Does it happen if you have a passenger?

No it doesn't...I can actually reach over while driving and put pressure on the upright portion of the seat and the rattle stops.

That's just like mine. I recall someone on this board had their seat frame replaced from a similar issue. Also, if it helps, if I pull up the back-front seat adjuster lever, the noise goes away as well. I no longer have warranty and definitely don't want to pay for a fix.
Maybe you could try searching for the other person's seat rattling noise. I'm on a mobile connection and can't help with that.

May sound crazy

Have you checked to make sure the seatbelt isn't just banging against the pillar?

The plastic on the seat belt clip does rattle on the pillar if not posistioned correcty. But, there is a rattle under the seat. It has to do with the springs and lever that moves the seat forward and backwards. I had to look under with a light and hit the seat with my hand until I found the noise, then greased up or put felt stickers on the area that was causing that. Took 20 minutes.

Thanks, I will give it a try. Today might be a bad day though, -9 deg. with 6 inches of snow here in MI.
