Hmm, I'd guess a C&C that got shortened up and put the bed on. Looks fun though, wonder what it rides like with that short wheel base?

I'd like to see a pic of the frame... he had to get the rear axle closer to the cab, wonder how he managed to keep the truck street legal. (It's licensed and currently used on the roads.)

I shortened The frame on my 84 F250 extended cab 4x4 chassis 45" to match a 1954 Ford F100 wheel base ( 110" ) . I just drilled out all the rivots on the spring hangers and crossmembers and slid the whole rear suspension and diff forward 45" drilled new mounting holes for the mounting brackets and X-members. Then cut off the excess frame that was left over.

Doing it this way saved having to cut the frame in half and weld it back together. It was a lot of work but no worries about the frame strength.

I thought about something like that on mine, but... is it really practical as a toy... not really.
Still wicked cool none-the-less
