How do I tell if I have Remote Keyless Entry
Just bought a used 2005 F250 with a 6.0 PSD.
It has electric door locks but I was only given a standard key.
Q1. Are there trucks without Remote Keyless Entry?
Q2. How do I tell if the keyless receiver is installed in the truck?
Q3. Is there a way to unlock all the locks with the key in the door?

I got this from the F150.net website. Perhaps the rapid on/off of the ignition switch will tell you if you have remote capability or not.

</TD><TD width="100%" itxtvisited="1"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
It is necessary to have ALL (maximum of four-original and/or new) of your remote transmitters available prior to beginning this procedure
To program the transmitters yourself:
If the doors don't lock/unlock, you don't have the remote module.
Hope this helps,
Curt

I'm still looking into it though... if the factory can install it, anyone can.

And, no, you can't unlock all the locks with the key in the door; you could with a key pad or remote.

Assuming you don't have the module after doing the check in my first reply, I'd recommend going to a stereo store that offers RKE to get a price quote. That will a) tell you if the wiring is existing and b) give you a hunch on how much Ford will charge you (stereo shop times at least 2 would be my guess).

Bulldog Security. Model KE1702 Vehicle Keyless Entry System
It shows a module that has to be wired in.

Might be time to update this thread. I was successfully able to enable factory RKE on my 2008 F250 XL without adding any aftermarket parts. I only had to buy the fobs.
For the 2008s (maybe others, too) you can use FORScan to modify the as-built data to enable RKE. Like I've always said, the SJB is identical on every pickup, the RKE transceiver is present, but disabled.
It's just a matter of flipping two bits to match the w/RKE vehicles.
