Just found out I cannot record from my MP3 player to the Jukebox unless someone tells me how to do it, wrong format I reckon. It does work from a CD, but very slow. Is their a way to just dump the CD into the Jukebox without waiting 15-20 minutes. I even copied all my music from my laptop to a DVD, but it wouldn't work, wrong format again. This could take forever getting 200+ tracks recorded. Any help is well appreciated. Thanks

The only thing I can offer to you is that I have tried different things to try to get music into the Jukebox and the only thing that works for me is just what the manual says to do, stick the CD in and hit the record button. I know it takes a long time but seems that there is no speedy option.

Best thing to do is put all your music on an MP3 player or a memory stick.

The Jukebox is nice, menu's are better for navigating through your music but the price for that is the time it takes to set it up.

 

I think all of you guys are crazy. We put our music on whatever media so we ca listen to it more than once. I have mine on a bunch of usb drives organized by color and names. I also have music on the jukebox. This is why I think it's crazy to complain about ways to get it onto the jukebox HD. Just load a CD and record it while you're listening to it. It's only one round of pain in the butt to go through, then they're loaded. You were going to listen to them anyway. You'll also hear a bunch of music you haven't heard in a while, I did. You can delete individual tracks as time goes on.

 

I'm not sure where the long record time idea comes from. Maybe I did something wrong, but I was only playing around with it and recorded about 5 tracks in less time than it took to listen to one song. I haven't tried copying full CDs yet, but I think 15 minutes would be a small price to pay for the ultimate convenience that it will offer.

If nothing else, set the switch to accessory, start recording and walk away while you wash the truck or do something else around the garage or driveway.

You can speed up the recording process a little bit by not listening to the CD as it is recorded. I think I hit the pause button after I hit record and it will record faster.

I recorded 86 Cds in two nights.

 

I've only recorded a couple CD's so far and they were done in about 10 to 12 minutes each. I'll give the pause button thing a try - thanks for the idea!

 

I haven't tried pause, but for what I've recorded, I just pop in the CD and switch over to USB or Radio or Sat while it's recording. I don't think I've seen one take a full 10 minutes to rip.

I'm guessing that those complaining never had to rip a CD to MP3 back when MP3 first came out. THAT took a long time
