You should check out the MSU-Northern Bio-Energy Center, they offer discounts to MT residents for their services.

Here is the web link to get you pointed in the right direction: The MSU-Northern Bio-Energy Center

Hope this helps.

The website is current as of 2010, unless they changed something in the last year. Which knowing how northern is I wouldn't put it past them.

If they are in fact outsourcing, it wouldn't hurt to see if they would be able to send one of your samples along with theirs. Maybe you would be eligible for a reduced rate as you are currently enrolled if they can assist you.

yea that what i have been trying to is figure out who that are using but i want to start oil analysis on a fleet of fire trucks that me and my dad own. we currently have 3 now a 2003 Mack watertender, 2006 international 7400 and a new 2008 ford F-550. and because i do all the work on all these truck i want to get regular analysis done. i found a place Blackstone Labs that will do it for like 25 bucks so i going to give them a try.

I've used Blackstone before and its a good service. Energy Labs in Billings will do it, but they aren't cheap, and they won't tell you what the results mean.

They mostly test well water and methane/CBM water, and I know that test is $100 per sample, I went to school with one of their techs and I know one of their Analytical Chemists, heck of a good lab with excellent quality control.
