Well, I haven't posted in a long time, and few things have changed! Even though I have been here almost everyday!

I have been a proud owner of a 2011 F250 XLT SuperCrew for about 2 months now. (Bye bye my beloved 04 150 I bought new in 03)

LOVE IT!

The major question I have is, is there a way to turn off the back up display in the mirror? I sometimes just wanna use the mirror...the whole mirror. I would of thought it would of been an option in all the settings?

I am also looking at getting some sort of hard tonneau, possibly a fold up one. I like the Bak-Flip ones, mainly cause it opens 100% of the way without removal (at the expense of blocking the rear window though). Any suggestions or pics out there?

And jeezzzus, so hard to find decent molded mudflaps (no drilling in my pref)!

Husky Liner makes nice molded mud flaps the can be just bolted on also you dont need to drill if you dont want too.

No idea what sir spamalot is doing but to answer your question, I don't think so.

I know you can turn the rear parking sensors off but as far as I know, you can only turn the rear camera delay off, not the actual image in the mirror when you're in reverse. At least I haven't found the option in any of the menus either.

 

I thought maybe finding the power wire to the mirror, and splicing a upfitter switch to it? That will give me the ability to turn off and on at will? that means I gotta find the wire...blah...
