Here we are in December 2010 already! Time flies by way too fast. How has everyone's year gone? Any big plans for next year?

Well, winter is definitely here! I have been busy keeping the school buses running and getting them unstuck. At least I get to wheel around my "other" favorite 4x4, a 1976 IHC 4 wheel drive school bus nicknamed "Pushy" (because of the ridiculous push bumper) that we use for recovery. It does great in the snow and if worst comes to worst I can chain up all 6 tires. I am hoping I can talk the boss into letting me take it to a truck pull next summer for an exhibition run. I've been putting in long days since the weather has turned... got in at 6 this morning and left at 7 this evening. Kinda doesn't leave much time for projects, but the OT pay is nice.

I hear ya on workin too much!

I hate how it gets dark so early in the winter!

I took the first long road trip with the new motor in my pickup, needless to say, it gets about 10 mpg at 70 mph runnin about 2500 on the ol' tachometer. I'm startin to really think about just biting the bullet and getting some 315/75R16s to knock the rpms down a bit on the hwy.

Ryan, you out there?lol. How you liking this snow so far?!

Don't throw bigger tires on her, just swap pumpkins with me lol. I know you'd love the 3.55's again

I haven't been online much lately, I guess GT5 has taken me from pretty much everything I used to do. lol I'm not much of a game player, but wow, this game blows my mind.

I'm loving the snow. Went to the desert again last Saturday and Sunday, snow's getting pretty deep in spots out there. Damn hubs are being a pain in the *** lately though. I hear more snow in the forecast on Wednesday. Hope we get a big one soon

GT5 is Grand Turismo 5. I haven't played any of the gt games since the first one over 13 years ago. Now this one is amazing, if you like driving fast cars anyways. Just like driving the real thing if you have the wheel that's made for the game.

My hubs are just real stiff and not locking until the trucks been driven for a bit, like they need to warm up or something. Then it locks in fine. Same goes for unlocking. Heating them with a heater will free them up so I can lock them as well. Must just be some moisture in there this year. I never had any issues last year.

Well considering I can get around 95% of the desert in 2wd I'm sure your tires will do just fine. I just like hill climbing when there's not much snow, that's where all the big drifts are.
