Windsheild Wiper **** -- stripped (1990 F250)

Hi guys,

I lent my 1990 F250 diesel 7.3L to a buddy, and when I got the truck back the wiper **** was stripped out and came off in my hand.

Is this a **** that I can replace? . . . or should I buy an entire new switch? I can't find it at Autozone . . .

Thanks everybody!

Still available from your Ford dealer, MSRP $13.82. Or, you could probably find a universal **** with a set screw that would be better than the cheesy plastic **** they came with from the factory.

Thanks everybody!

I was at O'Reillys today and I found an old Ford "Radio ****" that fit the half-moon shape of the wiper switch stem. It was a bit tight, but at least it's not coming off any time soon.

Best part was that it was only $5. I'll keep my eye out in the scrapyards for a true replacement though . . .

There is a universal **** in the HELP! section at your local parts store. It has set screw. I have one for the windsheild wipers on my F150, works great. I paid less than $5 for it.
