Poll: Line-X: Color Matched or Black?

I have made up my mind to get a Line-X in my 1985 Ford F150.

Should I get it color matched to my Canyon Red truck, or simply go black?

If it matters, I also plan to use a black Ford bed mat on top of the Line-X.

Thanks for your opinion!

Tough decision!!

If you get a color match, the LINE-X bedliner will automatically include LINE-X Xtra, so it won't fade or lose its gloss. If you get black, black LINE-X Xtra is optional.

Red LINE-X color match:

Black Xtra (with a logo!)

Oh wow, that red looks really nice! I never knew you could get logos like that.

That just made my decision that much harder...

The Texas Longhorns had a bad year, but here you go anyway.

I always heard horror stories of colormatched red turning pink over time.

I never knew they had a UV protectant to save color fade. I got black line-x but the guy never mentioned the Xtra unless it is new within the last 2 years.

Xtra has been around for more than two years.

Here's a LINE-X Xtra black color match. Yep, lot's of different shades of black!

Thanks.
My line-x guy never mentioned it and I actually asked about color matching but backed off after hearing the differance in price. I don't remember him stying anything about a second coaing or fade resistan coating. This was July of '07.

And yes many many shades of all the colors. My generic Line-X black looks good on the Vista Blue
