Talking 2011 F100 Supernationals

Hey all:

Anyone going to the 2011 F100 Super Nationals? I have always thought it would be fun to go. The 56 wont be ready for 2011 but maybe in 2012. Would be fun to start an annual Guys Weekend. About a 1000 miles from Kearney. We could start a Pickup train, keep adding to it as we head east.

That would be kind of fun... have to keep this on the radar for 2012. We need somebody with a mid 60's truck so we'd have three decades covered in our little parade!

Get Anthony, and his 59 too. I think we have a few guys with early to mid 60's trucks.

Yes - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

I Used to go to NASCAR Races with some buddies and don't do that any more. Don't ride a Harley, so don't go to Sturgis, so thinking this could be the thing.

Okay. Didn't know if you were looking for a tow vehicle. Hey, I could drive your 69 for you!

Not sure we could afford the gas for the 69! I would hope that I would have enough miles on the 56 to be comfortable driving it. If I don't maybe we could through it on a trailer and I could drive it part of the way. Guess we got a few months to plan. Brian is ready to go - Deb and I were out there last weekend and I told him about it and he is ready for the trip!

George,

I hang out in the 1948-1960 forum here on the FTE, but saw your post. I will going to the F100 Supernationals next month. I will be leaving on Thursday morning arriving late Thursday evening. Let me know if you are planning to attend.

Hey Lance - Not going this year. I had some back issues and so just getting back into shape physically but sadly it really put a dent in my wallet also. Hope you have a good time. I hope to have my 56 done next year in time to go but I have a lot to complete.

George,

I am glad to hear that your recovering well from your back issue. Look me up next year if you plan to attend the F100 Supernationals.

Take care,
