I truly believe in the hot flush. I had it done, supplied the filters, and had the cooling system flushed and refilled for $400.00. The transmission shifted alot smoother afterwards and its been 10,000 miles and no ill effects. I'd say there are surely those out there who have had a bad experience with the flush but not me. YMMV
