Hi -

Just wondering if you found the problemn and got it fixed. My 2004 has done the rough idle thing on 5 separate occasions over the last 6 months. Last week the CEL came on with a P0340 code (no other codes). I replaced the cam position sensor yesterday and today while cruising the parking lot looking for a space, the rough idle returned along with the CEL and same code. I guess it wasn't the sensor after all. I have seen TSB 06-2-9 which points to a generator phase or diode problem causing P0340 and/or P0344 but it doesn't say if the rough idle.

Any other suggestions prior to exploratory surgery?
