I would definitely be interested in the heater (need controls too) and the complete seat, brackets and all. Please let me know costs and I'm sure we can work something out. Do you have pictures online by chance?

Okay what heater are you interested in? I have a seat, but it has issues. ( I think the track is messed up) I can get pictures for you. Im sorry for the delayed response.

Yes I still have the 8 and the 6. The 8 is very complete. I will take 500 for it. It has a good NO CRACK block. They are getting hard to find and it is standard bore.

Do you still have the 2 speed rear off the f-6 and is it same width as the 50 f-5 bus

fifty-two_f1 10-03-2012 06:46 PM

I do still have the rear axle and yes it should be the same. They used the same wheels and frame width so it would have to be the same.

Very cool I honestly am not familiar i was told that i would basically have better highway rpm. Do you know if this swap could help or hinder?

fifty-two_f1 10-04-2012 10:45 AM

Well It depends on what size tires you are running and what the ratio is of the axle you already have. I have a 54 f600 with 8.11s on the low and 5.88s ( i think) on the high. with nothing on the frame it will run about 65 mph, but that is wound up about as high as it can go

1950 f-5 bus 10-04-2012 11:15 AM

Well I'm in the process of getting a set of 19.5 and I think there 225 70

fifty-two_f1 10-04-2012 04:38 PM

I am not sure how tall those are, but you might want to do some calculations or get an overdrive transmission.... I do know that having a low side is really nice on that f600, lots of power and going to high in 3rd is nice too.

Hello well i am working out my rim issue i found a couple so far but there 22.5 and how much do you want for that? The low gear i plan on using putting thru pits

fifty-two_f1 10-09-2012 08:55 AM

I have all the plumbing for the vacuum also. It is also still attached to the frame with the springs. (I cut the frame off to save the springs in case someone needed them)

I think 250.00 for all of it is fair? what do you think?

1950 f-5 bus 10-10-2012 08:09 AM

Well that's perfect I am north of you in grand rapids I will keep in touch to figure out when I can come down

fifty-two_f1 10-10-2012 10:36 AM

Okay, let me know. I have machines to load it with, I can take the springs off and put it in a pickup bed or whatever you want to do
