looking for a drive shaft for a 1949 f1 with a for speed.

fifty-two_f1 05-05-2012 11:24 AM

Can you give me a measurement so I can check what I have?

63flareside 05-06-2012 12:48 AM

If you still have the magic air emblem what year is it for? Thanks

fifty-two_f1 05-06-2012 08:20 PM

I have reproduction 1951 emblems. they will fit the 52s but is correct for the 51s.

ghart 05-16-2012 10:48 PM

how 'bout a passenger-side window regulator?

fifty-two_f1 05-17-2012 06:37 PM

I should have one. I will check. I will take 35 plus shipping (10 bucks?) New ones are 85 plus shipping.

ghart 05-17-2012 06:52 PM

Great. There's a few on Ebay for about the same, but I'd rather the money go to an FTE'er. If its cranking fine, send me a PM when you're ready and I'll get money sent your way.

fifty-two_f1 05-17-2012 09:53 PM

Okay, I will get back with you in the next couple of days when I get a chance to go look. Is there anything else you need??

ghart 05-17-2012 10:25 PM

a few other things I've been keeping an eye out for...

OE-style hubcaps / rings
Rear bumper / brackets
OE-style taillights / brackets
Transmission hole cover
Front bed panel
Tailgate
grill / chrome bars
radio & speaker hole covers
alternator conversion bracket (slingshot style)
steering wheel / center cover
sun visor bracket

As you can probably tell from my avatar, I've got a '49 - '50 (who knows for sure?). I have some of these, but they're well past their prime.

fifty-two_f1 05-20-2012 08:04 PM

Well I should have a sun visor bracket and a transmission cover. is it on the column or floor shift?

ghart 05-20-2012 08:15 PM

floor shift. if the hole isn't there, i can always cut it. could you post a picture?

fifty-two_f1 05-21-2012 07:47 AM

What is your email? It is easier to send them that way. I have a few covers, but some of them have minor rust if I remember. I will get some pictures of the regulator, trans cover and sun visor.

1948 transmission to drive line " collar?"

I'm missing the part that hooks the drive line to the transmission. What is it called? Where can I get one?

Barn-find restore

Looking for some of the following 'big' items if you have them or might know their whereabouts.

Flathead "R" preferably with or without transmission. In shape to rebuild.
Heater assembly
Seat
Hood Trim

Looking to undo years of 'farmer engineering'. Thanks Mark

Someone with the user name of g-brown-775 on eBay is reconditioning some vintage aftermarket heaters. They are a bit pricey but look great.
Make sure they fit your truck.
